Using Gold Seal Lessons to Improve Instruction

This collection contains 360 lessons in math, science and English language arts for grades K-4, 5-8, and 9-12. The lessons are matched to the high-priority topics tested on states’ assessments and to the skills needed by all students for future success. Each lesson contains a task, scoring guide, and explicit links to standards and essential skills as well as to the Rigor/Relevance Framework. Teachers can use the Gold Seal Lessons to guide instruction and as resources to develop or expand lesson plans, student activities, and performance assessments.
