Strategic Reading in the Content Areas - Boosting Achievement in Grades 7-12

This kit is designed to help content-area teachers increase student learning in their subject and reading comprehension skills simultaneously. The 21 reading-to-learn strategies presented will engage students’ interest in content, help them maintain their focus, and improve their understanding and ability to apply what they read. Teaching masters, student handouts, and tips for reading specific text are all provided on a CD-ROM as well.
